Annually on March 8th we celebrate the social, cultural, and political achievements of women across the globe. At Alice Riot, we recognize the women trailblazers in both Fashion and Art, who for centuries have been in constant demand.
So we must ask, why then is there still a pay inequality in either industry?
In a society that historically exploits creativity and labor, and as a whole, women are most vulnerable to this. In 2021 the best way to combat this, and assure women in the arts are paid their share in the art world is through direct action.
Our brand is female owned and operated, featuring only contemporary women artists.
Each piece we showcase at Alice Riot provides the artist direct commission.
Each purchase is an act of rebellion against women’s pay inequality. Join the Riot!
