In this week's episode of WTAF, Kelly talks with Jerry Saltz, senior art critic at New York Magazine, about art collecting, the first women artists and bad ceramics.
About Jerry Saltz:
Since 2006, Jerry has been senior art critic and columnist for New York Magazine. Formerly the senior art critic for The Village Voice, he’s been nominated three times for the Pulitzer Prize for Criticism, which he received in 2018. He’s also the author of the New York Times bestseller, How to Be An Artist.
“He can be polarizing, for sure, but I happen to think he’s hilarious,” Kelly said. “He’s acerbic, self-deprecating, and very clear on his role as critic - an art world punk who calls it as he sees it.”
